Sometimes tighter even than some government institutes, accept maybe protecting the US president. This is as much about anti-terrorism measures as it is for anti-smuggling and trafficking purposes.

Sometimes, body searches tend to be very awkward, especially if you’ve been found suspicious and earmarked for a cavity search. Luckily this isn’t a cavity search, and fortunately, this airport has a woman on hand to search female travelers, as per protocol. They would not have been able to search this woman otherwise.
