However, it represents the late ‘60s and early ‘70s perfectly, judging from this girl’s outfit. According to the Internet, it’s taken at Washington Square Park, a year before Woodstock.

We wouldn’t be surprised to hear that this girl actually attended the event the following year; after all, she fits the profile! Even though many people are wearing suits behind her, she’s flaunting her flawless hippy look, with her headband, tie-dye, and the tiny heart on her forehead.
