Woodstock & The Hog Farm
Of course, the festival wouldn’t have been able to take place without some form of security guarding the farm. The organization got the so-called Hog Farm members to do the job. They were one of the longest-running hippie communes in the States, but they were only just beginning back then.
Here we can see the Hog Farm group resting by a decorated old school bus. Some even have cameras around their necks, probably taking pictures of the event. They might not be looking anything like the security we’re now accustomed to, but they did their job relatively successfully.
