Woodstock’s Counterculture
Depending on how one looks at it, Woodstock can represent a bunch of different things. Some people say that the festival itself gave birth to a lost and drug-induced generation. However, others say that it was the birthplace of a counter-culture standing for everything right.
After all, the peace, love, and no war movement, or better yet, the flower power movement, has values that are still going strong to the day. If it weren’t for the many drugs and substances, maybe more people would’ve agreed with them in the long run.
