Not Many Options For Food
Despite the troubles that the organizers had when it came down to serving the concertgoers some food, everyone wound up having something to eat. Even though they had planned for a hot-dog stand to exist at the festival, they made changes once things became unbearable.
The stand started charging a dollar per serving. A dollar in 1969 translates to $7 today, so no wonder festival attendees were outraged for having to pay that much for a single hot dog! There weren’t any other choices to pick from, especially after day two.
