The Hot Dog Riot

What would a festival, or a concert for that matter, be without a clothing stand? These may not be the printed T-shirts with bands’ names that we’re now accustomed to, but they still would make for a nice souvenir! After all, people tend to have a good eye for business, and this guy knows what we’re talking about.

According to The Smithsonian, the organizers had a hot dog stand. However, once the supplies started shortening, they raised the price to $1, when it should’ve been going for merely 25 cents. It didn’t take long for the people to become unsatisfied, and in turn, the stand wound up being burned.
