Hard-Boiled Eggs For All
Another problem that resulted from the festival’s high attendance was that the organizers had run out of food by day two. If the attendance were as expected, they would’ve made it through the three days problem-free; however, around twice the number of people showed up compared to what they had anticipated.
It turns out that this picture here is actually one of Woodstock’s ‘heroes’ transferring boxes filled with hard-boiled eggs. According to The Washington Post, a plea for help was made on the radio, and soon enough, the 500,000 festivalgoers had enough to feed themselves.
