He might have been the headliner, but not everyone got to see him perform. Of course, there were many delays in the line-up with all the chaos during the festival. The festival ended up lasting all the way to Monday morning, as that was when Hendrix and his band eventually appeared on the stage.

Although his performance was one of a kind, many of the attendees were back home or on their way. Thankfully, his solo was videotaped, and we can all get to see it. After all, a documentary about the event was released merely a year later.
