This isn’t just any of the festival’s attendees. In fact, it’s Grace Slick herself! She was part of the Jefferson Airplane band back then, which, by the way, was part of the festival’s line-up. They had a lot of time in their hands that weekend…
They were scheduled to headline Saturday’s performances but only made it on stage on Sunday morning. This may very well be a picture of Slick enjoying the rest of the performances with her friend. They had only just released their Volunteers album that year, so we can imagine there was a lot of excitement surrounding their performance that day.
