A Foster Mother

After much consideration, Page finally decided to become a foster parent for traumatized children. She filled out her application form on Mother’s Day in 2015; obviously, this was the best way to celebrate the day. Shortly after, she was given a young child to look after as a momentary placement.

Within a year, she had cared for a total of four children, and she proved herself a great parent. When caring for the fourth child, a 13-month-old boy:  she felt an urge to raise a child for years, and she told the caseworker that she would be open to permanently adopting a child through the system’s foster-to-adopt program.
