Jessie Wallace – EastEnders – Age 49
Jessie Wallace’s time on EastEnders was soured by her struggles with alcohol abuse. In early 2020, she was suspended from the soap after seeming to be intoxicated while on set. This is reminiscent of the suspension she was slapped with in the 2000s for allegedly using ketamine on a night out.
She made a comeback months after her most recent suspension. Hopefully, there won’t be more in her future. Wallace is a talented performer who has been nominated for several British Soap Awards, winning five during her two-decade stint playing Kat Slater.
