Bill Treacher – EastEnders – Age 90
One of the fixtures in the soap EastEnders, Bill Treacher, was known for playing Arthur Fowler, Pauline’s husband. The actor is one of the original cast but sadly departed the show in 1996. His character suffered a brain hemorrhage after being caught in a prison war.
After EastEnders, Treacher continued to work in films and shows, including The Musketeer, George and the Dragon, The Bill, and Casualty. However, the nonagenarian seems to have retired from acting because he last appeared in the 2009 TV movie, Coming Home. He is said to be quietly living with his wife in Suffolk.
