For playing Connie Beauchamp in Casualty from 2004 up to now, Amanda Mealing may have become synonymous with the character. However, long before she became an in-demand actress, she first started as a teen star in Grange Hill. She played Tracy Edwards in the kids’ show, which left a lasting impression on viewers.

Mealing continued to expand her resumé in the next years after the BBC show, appearing in The House of Elliott, Jake’s Progress, The Grand, The Lakes, Strike Back, and Holby City. The 53-year-old was also seen in the films Retribution, Still, and Four Weddings and a Funeral.
