Soap opera acting is tough work but we’ve heard that Jack P. Shepherd is well-compensated for all his hard work. A Coronation Street regular since he was 12 years old, he’s seen his character, David Platt, through a lot of harrowing storylines. No wonder he receives a reported salary of $344,000, which is the highest among his co-stars.

It’s well-deserved as Shepherd has been recognized twice by the British Soap Awards for his acting prowess. He’ll definitely need the funds as he raises his two children. It’ll also come in handy as he admitted he plans on marrying and girlfriend Hanni Treweek during a 2020 Loose Women interview.
