Charles Lawson – Coronation Street – Age 61

With decades’ worth of experience and dozens of acting credits under his belt, Charles Lawson is definitely someone aspiring actors can learn a lot from, and he knows it, too. In an impassioned interview with the Daily Star in 2021, he reprimanded young actors for chasing fame instead of honing their craft.

Lawson, who appeared in Coronation Street on and off from 1989 to 2018, had to prioritize his health after he suffered a mini-stroke while on stage in 2018. He fortunately recovered and now resides in Cheshire with his partner Debbie.
