Is It A Crime?

Here we have another concerning violation of Walmart’s no-pet rule. It’s hard to get mad at this adorable duo, though. The man and his ferret seem to be joined at the hip and enjoy spending time together. That looks like a wig on his head, and it even seems to match the ferret’s dark brown fur!

So, is it such a crime to take a beloved pet out shopping? Depending on where he is, yes. Ferrets are illegal in states like Hawaii and California. While they may be cute, the weasel relative can bite people and unwittingly spread rabies if they aren’t vaccinated.
