Shobna Gulati, 54, Born In 1966 – Coronation Street

Far from how popular she is today, Shobna Gulati started as a dancer in the music video of Boy George’s 1991 song Bow Down Mister. People know her for playing Anita in the sitcom Dinnerladies. Interestingly, she also became famous for portraying characters in rival shows Coronation Street (as Sunita Alahan) and EastEnders (as Ameena).

Gulati, born in Oldham, Lancashire, is a mainstay in British TV, having played parts in shows like Doctor Who, Treasure Champs, River City, and Doctors. The latest celebrity news on the 54-year-old is that she doesn’t seem to care about seeing gray hair.
