Veteran actress Anne Reid has been professionally acting since the ’50s, but she’s not hitting the brakes on her career anytime soon. The 85-year-old has mostly showcased her acting skills for small-screen roles, but she also has a few movie credits. Some of her most memorable portrayals include Dinnerladies (1998-2000), Firm Friends (1992-1994), and Peak Practice (1993-1999).

Despite being in her golden years, Reid remains spunky and feisty. The BAFTA nominee admitted in 2019 that she doesn’t like it when she’s being treated like an old person. Indeed, the actress who has been active for decades is not stopping, next appearing in SAS: Red Notice (2021).
