Sam Elliott, 80, Born In 1944 – The Big Lebowski

Sam Elliott is known for his deep voice, hairy chest, and over the top masculinity, portrayed in several films throughout his career of over 50 years. Mainly known as a Western movie star, Elliot has played the tough guy in films such as 1976’s Lifeguard and 1989’s Road House.

In 2018 Elliot appeared in the A Star is Born movie, receiving the National Board of Review Award as well as a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Elliot, who reportedly wanted to become an actor since he was nine years old, was most recently seen starring in The Ranch TV series; the finale released on January 24, 2020.
