Alexandra Breckenridge kicked off her career with supporting roles in teen flicks like She’s the Man and Big Fat Liar. She later got more substantial roles in TV shows like American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, and This Is Us. She stars as Melinda Monroe in the Netflix romantic drama Virgin River, which got renewed for a third season in December 2020.

Breckenridge has also lent her vocals to numerous animated productions, including Family Guy, where she often impersonates Renee Zellweger and Sarah Jessica Parker. Breckenridge has been married to guitarist Casey Hooper since 2015, and they have two children.
