William Hurt, 71, Born In 1950 – Broadcast News

In his younger years, Oscar-winning actor William Hurt looked very much like a Hollywood leading man. That’s part of the reason why he was so effective in his complex roles in films like Body Heat and Broadcast News. Later in his career, he garnered a new generation of fans by starring as Thaddeus Ross in the Marvel films.

Now in his early 70s, Hurt is still alive and thriving in the entertainment biz. Not even an accident that broke his leg in 2018 could stop him from what he does best. We last saw him on the silver screen in 2021 when he reprised his Marvel character in Black Widow.
