Richard Petty, 83, Born In 1937 – NASCAR Legend
Richard Petty is a living legend in the world of racing. He held NASCAR records as the first driver to win the racing event’s Cup Championship seven times and the record feat of winning 200 races during his 34-year career. Kyle Busch beat the record in 2019.
Despite that slight upset, Petty can’t seem to get enough of fast cars as he remains active in the NASCAR scene and continue to invest money in car-related ventures. He co-owns the Richard Petty Motorsports racing team and operates Petty’s Garage, a car restoration business in his home state of North Carolina.
