Judith Light, 71, Born in 1949 – Who’s The Boss?

Judith Light developed a reputation as a series specialist. She got her big break playing the character Karen Wolek in the soap opera One Life to Live, for which she won two Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Actress. Light then moved on to the Sitcom Who’s The Boss? playing Angela Bower.

She also had a recurring role in Law And Order: Special Victims Unit and played Matriarch Claire Meade in the hit series Ugly Betty. Light also had notable theatre roles, including two that won her Best Actress Tony’s: Other Desert Cities and The Assembled Parties. She is set for a role in the upcoming series Manhunt: Deadly Games.
