Georgia Holt, 94, Born in 1926 – Cher’s Mother
Georgia Holt’s life is one for the books. She’s been married seven times, twice to the same man, and has carved a career as an actress in the shows I Love Lucy and The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet ‘50s. In between all that, Holt raised the Goddess of Pop, Cher, who is her eldest daughter.
Although her work in entertainment is eclipsed by the Believe singer’s stardom, Holt got to shine again in the film Dear Mom, Love Cher. The Lifetime special told Holt’s journey from rural Arkansas to Tinseltown. Now, 94, she’s still going strong despite a trip to the hospital in May 2020.
