Marla Gibbs, 90, Born in 1931 – Big Shot

It took a long time, but The Jeffersons actress Marla Gibbs has finally gotten her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in July 2021. She received the honor at the ripe age of 90 and almost fainted at the ceremony. Ever the trusty performer, she pulled through and watched her star unveiled.

Gibbs mostly acted and produced TV series during her five-decade stint in show business. Her other notable works include the sitcoms Checking In and 227. She’s bound to add more to her resume as she continues to work today. We last saw her in an episode of the Disney series Big Shot.
