Neil Diamond, 80 , Born In 1941 – Sweet Caroline

Neil Diamond is one of those legends who need no introduction. The famous singer took his fans by surprise in 2018 when he announced his immediate retirement as an aftermath of being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Unfortunate news, but there’s a silver lining. He does occasional performances, which make them all the more interesting.

Later in 2018, he performed for firefighters in Basalt, Colorado, as a way of paying gratitude for their services. His most recent performance (March 2020) was at the 24th Keep Memory Alive Power of Love Gala benefit, where he gave an astounding performance of some of his greatest hits, and of course, the classic Sweet Caroline.
