When Billy Dee Williams starred as Han Solo’s old friend Lando Calrissian in Empire Strikes Back, he was a fit man in his 40s. Getting to play the same character in another Star Wars film almost four decades later would be challenging. It was one he was willing to take, though.

Williams hired a pro to help him get back into shape to fight the Galactic Empire for Rise of the Skywalker. His regimen included regular exercise and a weight loss diet of vegetables, fish, and chicken, which helped him shift 25 pounds. Almost a year after, the 83-year-old is still looking his best.
