Adrienne Jo Barbeau, 75, Born in 1945 – Broadway Musical Grease
Adrienne Jo Barbeau first shot to fame when she nabbed the role of Rizzo in the original Grease musical on Broadway. However, movie audiences may know her better from her appearances in the horror films directed by her first husband, John Carpenter, including The Fog, which was Barbeau’s silver screen debut, and The Thing.
Although she and Carpenter divorced in 1984, Barbeau continued to star in several horror productions, including a cut role in the remake of her ex’s iconic film Halloween in 2007. She’s also working on two more scary movies that are still in the production stages.
