Kim Novak is best remembered as one of Alfred Hitchcock’s icy blonde leading ladies. Although generations of film viewers have been acquainted with her good looks through Vertigo, people haven’t gotten used to her downplayed look, yet it seems. Not surprising because she hasn’t been seen on screen since the early ‘90s.

Her appearance at the 2014 Oscar Awards resulted in unsavory comments being thrown at her. Donald Trump even tweeted about Novak needing to sue her plastic surgeon. Fortunately, the now-87-year-old knows how to shrug off jabs about her changing beauty as she spends her time painting in her home in rural Oregon.
