Tommy Cook, 90, Born In 1930 – The Superman/Aquaman Hour Of Adventure
Tommy Cook was a multimedia all-rounder. He was a famous and prolific child actor in the ’40s and ’50s and did voice work in animated media and radio serials. One of his most noted voice roles was as Kid Flash in the animated series called The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure from 1967.
He had acting roles in Tarzan and the Leopard Woman, Jungle Girl and also did work on series like Adventures of Red Ryder. Cook later tried his hand at writing and producing, with notable credits for the suspense film Rollercoaster and Players, which starred Ali McGraw. He retired from the industry in 1983.
