Mildred Kornman, 95, Born In 1925 – Our Gang Shorts And A Successful Model

Mildred Kornman, in her real name, is probably only recognized because of her sister Mary. She was well known as the main character of the famous silent kids series Our Gang, also known as Little Rascals. Mildred, meanwhile, would join her sister on episodes involving crowds. She did carve out a legacy in the industry, though.

As an adult, she changed her name switched professions, working under the pseudonym Ricky VanDusen. She earned minor acting roles but made a name as a model, being featured in various magazines, including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. But eventually, she decided the industry wasn’t for her, and she retired in 1962.
