Kathleen Hughes, 91, Born In 1928 – It Came From Outer Space
Kathleen Hughes had an uncle who was a famous playwright and wrote the screenplay for the 1953 romantic comedy called The Moon Is Blue. But that’s not what got her into acting. Hughes decided that acting would be fun after seeing a Donald O’Connor film.
She had some good fun too, with roles in 14 20th Century Fox films and five for Universal Studios, most notably It Came From Outer Space, the cult classic Sci-Fi Film. Hughes also had some notable TV roles. These include roles in the Alfred Hitchcock presents anthology series, among others. She was last seen in a 2017 film called Swamp Women Kissing Booth.
