Julie Newmar, 86, Born In 1933 –  Batman

From acting, dancing, singing, writing, and succeeding as a businesswoman, Julie Newmar has done it all. Her businesses mainly involved inventing lingerie and real estate development. Born, raised, and based in Los Angeles, Newmar’s screen career goes back to the early ’50.

The now 86-year-old held roles in films like Demetrius and the Gladiators and The Rookie, and starred on television shows such as My Living Doll, and the most famous one of them all, Batman. Playing Catwoman on Batman was likely her most remembered role to this day—a character she voiced in animated Batman movies in 2016 and 2017.
