Ruta Lee, 85, Born In 1935 – Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Ruta Lee was fresh from graduating high school when she was cast as one of the titular brides in the 1954 musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Soon Lee was starring alongside Hollywood’s biggest stars from Audrey Hepburn to Frank Sinatra in films like Funny Face and Sergeants 3. 

But although she primarily starred in American productions during the peak of her career in the ‘50s and ‘60s, the now 85-year-old seems to have found her way back to her roots in Lithuania. Her latest credits include a role in a Lithuanian show called Giminės. Gyvenimas tęsiasi.
