Alex Trebek, 80, Born In 1940 – Jeopardy!

Alex Trebek isn’t called the King of gameshow for anything. While we know him as the long-standing host of the hit game show Jeopardy, he was also responsible for the popularity of various other American TV game shows as the host.

These include shows like The Wizard Of Odds, Double Dare, and Battlestar.  As the host of Jeopardy, Trebek has won seven Daytime Emmy’s form 31 nominations and is contracted to host the show until 2022. Trebek is soldiering on as the host despite being diagnosed with cancer and being on treatment. He most recently released a memoir titled  The Answer Is…: Reflections on My Life.
