Dwayne Hickman, 85, Born In 1934 – The Bob Cummings Show

Many of you were probably not even born when Dwayne Hickman started his career back in the early ’40s. He gained much popularity in the ’50s during his portrayal of Chuck MacDonald on The Bob Cummings Show, and later, the title character on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.

Halfway through his career, Hickman opted for a change and started working behind the camera as a programming executive for the CBS network, and some directing work as well. He has been off the radar since 2005, but we know one thing for sure, and that is, Hickman’s been taking care of himself as he is doing well, aged 85.
