Chuck Yeager, 97, Born In 1923 –Â Flying Without Fear
The name Chuck Yeager will go down in history and will always be recalled as the first man who flew faster than the speed of sound. In other words, he broke the sound barrier, and it’s not shocking given that he’s flown over 200 types of military aircraft (according to CNN).
Being thousands of feet above the ground is a risky job, and yet, Yeager spent a good part of his life up in the air and has somehow lived to tell the tale. Aged 97, he is an excellent example of a life well-lived. To get a better idea of his story, look up Flying Without Fear, the movie.
