Giving South Asian Tradition A Try
Sydney desired a long neck like her favorite animal giraffe and remembered the strange tradition she read as a teen. And as a young lady, she thought of wearing neck rings, opting to follow the indigenous people of Cambodia, a small South Asian nation neighboring India. Finally, she realized that following the Kayans could make her look like her darling animal.
The Tibeto-Burman are an ethnic minority, and the Kayans are part of that community. Most of the Kayans are found in two states of Myanmar named Kayah and Shan. The small community groups live in countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and the United States.
