A Connection by Heart
Sydney knew the process was slow and painful, but she was ready to take whatever it might require to look like the Kayan people. There were certain days when she felt unease but still, she was not ready to abandon what she was up to.
She had succeeded in reaching a five-inch long neck, but she was expecting to make you seven or eight inches. Many people around her were sympathetic to her state, but she told them that she would not quit wearing the rings until they become life-threatening for her. She intended to wear them for a lifetime.
