Animals Are Compassionate Too

Everyone stuck around to admire the elephants’ love and unity for each other. The herd formed a protective circle around the baby and its mother, swaying with joy. Now their family was reunited once more.

And just like that, it was back to everyday life; the adult elephants began guiding the young one across the river, the rescued calf and its mom included. More than one local witnessing the scene shed a tear as they watched the herd peacefully walking away.
