Finally, The Wait Is Over

With the trench finally dug and the baby elephant safely out, the two-day rescue mission was finally over. It had been an exceptionally exhausting period for the rescuers working in the jungle heat. Everyone, including the elephants, was happy to see the calf’s first steps outside the muddy pit.
