Imaginary Snow
This picture was taken near the Mont Blanc region, the highest mountain in Western Europe. It’s no surprise that this man is determined to ski on the summit, but unfortunately, it’s the peak summer season and there is no snow. This is reminiscent of those children who wanted to meet Santa in the spring or have a Halloween party in January; this man is the same kind of determined spirit!
According to National Geographic, Mont Blanc is a popular tourist attraction, with an estimated 20,000 people visiting the summit each year. The first recorded ascent of Mont Blanc was made in 1786 by Jacques Balmat and Michel-Gabriel Paccard.
