Make no mistake; this isn’t an action movie from the ’70s. This really happened in 1986, during an NFL match between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Raiders. The whole event could as well have been taken from a movie scene, though.

The unlucky man who received that vicious punch was the New England Patriots general manager Patrick Sullivan. Apparently, he was trash-talking former Raiders linebacker Matt Millen for the entirety of the game. Raiders eventually lost the match, and Millen got so furious that he couldn’t resist walking towards Sullivan and giving him a piece of his mind or err… hand.
