Not Today, Girls
Yet another classic cheerleading disaster. It’s not exactly sure which routine they were going for here, but a good guess would be the elevator stunt. There are at least four people with different designated roles to perform a standard elevator: the flyer who gets thrown in the air, two people who serve as the base, and the spotter who watches for any mistake or danger.
In the case of these cheerleaders, something probably went wrong with the base. Perhaps they failed to lift her properly, or they were unable to catch her landing. Either way, it’s back to practice for the girls from Irvine.
