Boom barriers can either stop or let in vehicles. However, what can you say of a boom barrier that is so short that it can hardly contain a two-wheeler, let alone a four-wheeler?

Why was the barrier cut short? Well, perhaps it was because a vehicle rammed into the barrier, cutting it short to a length that was no longer useful. However, it is strange to discover that nobody thought of correcting the defect yet. If they want to control the entry and exit of vehicles, they must certainly think of installing a fresh new one; otherwise, there is simply no stopping trespassers.
