In Charlie’s Angels, Lucy Liu and Bill Murray looked like they were good friends on screen, but it wasn’t the case when the camera stopped rolling. The comedian allegedly stopped her scene and told her she couldn’t act, prompting the actress to throw punches.
Yes, it got physical to the point that they had to be separated. Murray, however, claimed the brawl didn’t happen. Nonetheless, he was replaced by Bernie Mac in the sequel after allegedly refusing to go back if Liu remained. Nowadays, both of them are busy with upcoming projects: the 70-year-old with Ghostbusters: Afterlife and the 52-year-old with an untitled comedy film.
