A 19-year-old Taylor Swift gave her acceptance speech during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye West grabbed the mic and seemingly said that Beyoncé should have won the award. It was the start of a long and embarrassing feud between the hitmakers that sadly involved his wife, Kim Kardashian.

Despite publicly burying the hatchet, West’s song, Famous, again ignited the fight. In 2020, Kardashian invited herself into the conversation when she released a recorded conversation between her husband and Swift. Nowadays, the songstress seems to be in a happy place after winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
