Bruce Willis starred in Planet Terror, The Sixth Sense, and Unbreakable, so anyone would be excited to work with him. Director Kevin Smith got that opportunity in 2010 to film Cop Out, but it was far from how he imagined it to be, describing the experience as soul-crushing.
The filmmaker hinted that Willis was difficult to work with because he wasn’t cooperative. However, in 2019, Smith revealed that the actor reached out to him out of nowhere, and they made amends. Just this January 2021, as the star was ridiculed for opting to go out without adequate protection, the director publicly poked fun at him.
