A Bad Influence

Since Marie and her rude playdate friend did not go to the same school, when Bridget forbade the two from playing with each other, they could not see each other at all anymore. This meant that her friend’s bad manners and influence were no longer rubbing off on her six-year-old.

During this time, Bridget was also using the parenting group on Facebook to look for another nanny, but it seemed people were unwilling to work for her household. She had spent weeks desperately looking for Meg’s replacement, but so far, she had gotten the short end of the stick.
