Ruling the Roost

Bridget showed Marie the video evidence of her behavior and asked her if she thought her behavior towards others was acceptable. In response, Marie simply stated that if they paid for the nanny’s services, then she was practically her boss, which meant that the helper had to comply with her commands and not the other way round.

Bridget was absolutely floored. How could her own child be so ill-mannered and abusive? Surely she had left no stone unturned to ensure her baby daughter was raised to respect others, then where was this behavior coming from?
